Just replayed it back a couple of times, the second Hanley plays the ball there is no marker Farrel is on the left Marshall on the right. When Newman does his nutmeg dive Marshalls left leg comes across to block the move but it was too late.

At normal speed it looks an obvious no try, because it went up to a video ref he spotted it in slow mo. Ii also looks as though Newman didn't touch Hanleys legs to question an obstruction.

If that was a non televised game it would 99 times out of 100 a NO TRY.

Well the ref gave it on field so not sure how you get that

Handley steps to block Marshall at marker and Newman uses him as a shield (almost knocking him over) to score the try. Terrible decision.

Rubbish. Handley doesnt step anywhere, just plays the ball.

He moves to the side with his arm out. Now he may be falling rather than actually stepping in his defence, but either way he shoves Marshall out the way.

Ganson's stated it was the wrong decision to award the try.

No doubt the RFL will punish Liam Moore by giving him more Wigan games to ref.

Child should be the one punished , he was VR and had all the time in the world sat down and chilled out to over rule it. I can just about accept Moore getting it wrong but for Child to as well is so poor.

He'll probably get the same punishment that he got when he forget players can't 'kick' a ball with their heel, giving a try to Wigan during the game against Leeds at the start of the year

Both should be sacked as obviously they don't know the rules
