| Shame CTW is out long-term. I wouldn't mind seeing what Dufty can offer at 6 alongside Sneyd, with CTW at the back.

Could have Ratchford at fullback? Personally I don't think Dufty could cope with having to do the tackling at 6.

You could also move Thewlis Snr to FB and play Jnr on the wing but I agree with the second part of your post and in addition I think Dufty's threat is based in part on the freedom that playing at FB brings

| Leave him at FB..he links up well in Hb position as proved against the pies at Newcastle..his only downfall at times is his defence when he didn't tackle Chris Kendall

But don't forget our youth is the future... Just not the next 48 hours kind of future!

| Is Ratchford playing? Surely not? I get Sneyd, aside from Harry Smith nobody can do what he can do on his day, we had to sign him. Ratch is getting like the late Westwood days, picked on nostalgia and positive values and experience, all the while not delivering.
Sneyd and Leyland for me, if available.

| Big calls (assuming everyone is fit) is Tai or Lindop in the centres and Ratchford or Leyland in the halves. Ratchford better defensively but Leyland has a bit more spark, I’m going attack over defence and going for Lindop & Leyland. I’m thinking Burgess may go for Ratchford though…
Dufty Thewlis Lindop King Ashton Leyland Sneyd Vaughan Powell Yates Holroyd Fitzgibbon Currie
Crowther Philbin Musgrove Harrison

| I'm not particularly concerned about Lindop in defence but the alternative thinking is mix and match and play Tsi if hes going with Leyland and vice versa.
But yes a couple of big calls

| Given how King has come back from injury a couple of times already only to either not complete the game or else finish on one leg, Burgess may go with Lindop and Tai.
Regardles as to who plays between Sneyd, Ratchford and Leyland, it's yet another new halfback pairing.
