I thought he was covering the GM role while Alan Rowley was recuperating?
Either way, it's a terrible shame that Jason feels the need to quit the past players. He invested so much time and energy into it, and managed to get a lot of past players to put their quarrels with the club aside. Who's going to take that job on now?

I think Jason has worked wonders with the Past Players,but again there comes a time I life when we all feel the time is right to go , for whatever the reason,Jason may feel he wants a rest ,or give someone else a chance , who knows?It now a case of Thanks Jason, I hope the Woody Statue still will happen.

Seems strange. I do know Jason has done a great job re storing a vibrant past players association and he has earneed great respect amongst the past players for doing this. Sound, strong links between the club and its past players are important.
. I hope this not down to any differences of opinion between the club on raising funds for a statue of John Woods. I know Jason actively supports that cause whilst Derek currently does not.
