All points to a Trinity win but you never know in a Derby game! 

That was a pretty gutless performance. Cas made us look like a team of plodders, our pack couldn't cope with their aggression and speed, our halves had time but lacked runners to pass to or just shovelled it out wide at a snails pace. I guess Rourkes played himself out of next weeks team...I think the Derby atmosphere got to him, never seen him bottle so many catches. 
Disappointing, but shows how far we are from a regular playoff side.

The top 5 teams would have turned up and played play off rugby. Unfortunately we showed last night we are not quite there yet,close but not quite there. It's going to be very tough to make the "6" now but who knows. Let's see which Wakefield Trinity turn up next Saturday in own Grand final.

Mr Powell take your head out of the sand and start watching the team and stop buying forwards .Take a good look at the spine and remove Trueman who is pinching money on tonight performance and  Lino and bring some body in who as got a running game , and please remove Scott from and sign a out and out who can cover for when Hall or Pratt are out The lack of pace in the back 7 was frightening.and over the last 6 week it would be good to know how many  passes our wingers have had the Cas spine ran us ragged all over the field .The performance over the last 6 weeks or so ,especially against any top 6 team have mostly  been bad and some like tonight have gone back  to the year we were relegated. Most of the time our only tactic was boot the ball in to the lights and hope they can not see the ball .We are kidding our selves if we think we are a top 6 team big time

What we appear to have forgotten is the expansive play that got us where we are. It now looks like we have gone back into our shell trying to protect the ball with little or no expansion or second phase. We are now trying not to lose rather than playing to win.
