Reece Lyne and Vince Mellors included in the squad for Sunday, which gives us plenty of options in the threequarters.
Are we going to see Lyne in place of Fox on the wing ??
Raleigh missing out through injury but if we are anything like, there are certainly 2 points for the taking on Sunday.

Guess Olly will be in for Raleigh. Guess the only other change may see KLyne on the wing for Fox but I wouldn't be shocked to see Agar give Fox a chance to make up for last week.

When was the last time Vince M played a competitive game? No way can he be any where near match fit, so he could be a risk if included. However the longer he goes without a game, the worse his 'fitness' gets.

Personally, I'd put Lynne back in teh centre if fit and then decide between Smith and Fox for the wing.
Smith would get it I think but would be ok with Fox having another go.

As impressed as i have been by Lyne, i still believe Smith is more of a potent threat in attack when running with the ball. Lyne may be a bit more destructive but i think is still just behind Smith

Think Lynne should start on wing in place for Fox and take a leaf out of Cockayne's book by 'wandering/roaming' when we're attacking to get the maximum benefit from him. He could also interchange during the game at centre with Smith? Think he gives us more than Fox with his strength and additional speed.


Wilkes is a must prop replacement for Raleigh with his experience, size and strong running. For me if all 19 are fit I'd leave Fox and Mellars out of the 17 to start against Salford.

There are two points there for the taking IF we play at our best but Salford are not coming to Wakefield to lay down and submit. If there is a hint of complacency in our dressing room (and I'm not suggesting there will be) then we are in for trouble. Any SL side, including Salfrord, are capable of a producing a shock on the day.

I'd go with Smith in the and Lyne on the wing, it's what he played before his move to so it makes sense.
