Not many players during the Superleague era can be classed as all time greats for us tbh, but Horne is one of them. His up and down form in recent years shouldn't detract from the fact that he was a brilliant player back in the day, and gave his everything for the club for 16 years. Thanks Rich.

Without doubt a player I will always remember, hoping I now start to remember him as a great coach for Hull fc as well.

Brings a tear to my eye seeing that picture. You know, I've seen the words great and legend used in the last day or so but I'd like to throw another one out there: hero. For 16 years you have worn the FC shirt proudly and given us fans many a happy moment with your exploits. Thanks for the memories Richard.

Can't believe people are bagging him on the other thread. Who was the last player to stay with us for 16 years? He's played through injury, illness and years of playing alongside inadequate half back partners and one of only 2 Hull born players we've produced who have played for GB/England in the SL era.

Brilliant performance tonight. A great club man and fully deserves a coaching role. Really hope they sort this out for it.
