Great read again. I vividly remember the Halifax game. The handful of us there celebrated like we'd won a trophy.
Thought we'd won the game, got the try disallowed, then won it again. A high spot in a turgid season!

Thanks for this week's diary Wilf, it's back to the mundane stuff after last week's adrenalin rush but keep 'em coming.

Thanks Wilf, I promised if we won at Wembley I wouldn't complain about another game until next season. I'm keeping my promise, but that doesn't mean I can't be disappointed. I'm still watching the last 20 minutes of the final over and over again with heart pounding and a smile on my face as they collect the cup. Bit of advice my old man gave me - never get into following Hull, they will break your heart time and time again, but you still keep going back for more. Oh how I wish he was still here to see that win.
