We, Widnes have just signed him on a two year deal.

What do you guys think of him? Is he a decent player?

On paper I'd say this is exactly what we need. A big and powerful prop.

Not overly impressed you probably already have better tbh,

But saying that look how Ah Van turned out for you guys after he left us, so he may change as become a better player.

He seems a nice guy, but doesn't run his weight. That little skip he takes before impact really sucks the 'crash' out of his runs too. He was really shown up by Kaufusi when he was here, as a prop not really performing to the best of his promise.

Much like most of our squad I suppose.

I thought he'd started off well but seemed to fade late last season and this. I think to try and cater for low numbers in the pack Francis Cummins tried to make them all carry less weight to allow for longer minutes. I don't think this worked to his or Adam Sidlow's benefit.

Agree with above. First year I thought he as fantastic, this season hasn't really stood up (but then again no one really has)

If you can get the Nas from 2012, he'll go we'll for you.

If only the game was played on paper instead of grass. Cos he's no great shakes on grass.
If you can get him to actually bother, then he might do a decent job for you.

Looked a totally different player under Mick Potter.

He looked the real deal in the first season. Last 2, not so much. So a change of coach, training environment, financial security - might be what he needs, then you've got a good prop.

For his size he should be carry the ball forward in the tackle similar to Kaufusi and Fakir. Unfortunately has been very poor the past two season and will hopefully do better at Widnes. Can't say i'm sorry to see him leave. He's a prop version of Karl Pryce

If he had stayed and we got Fielden as forwards coach he may have got back to what he was in his first year. Unfortunately, like a lot of players this year he just hasn't performed and he does stop just before impact which isn't good if you want to be a powerhouse prop. Maybe Bett's is the man to get the best out of him. If not, I wouldn't be surprised if we play against him in the play-offs this time next season.

Exactly my reaction too. He's been a passenger for large parts of this season and nowhere near the form he showed in his 1st year. Good luck to him, perhaps the change of scenery will see him return to earlier form.
