| The penalties he gave against us in the second half totally killed our momentum. However, we gave away two very soft tries in the first half and let Burrow through in second, which ultimately cost us the game, and once again Anderson missed a tackle and let in a try.
Instead of slagging the ref, I'll just Anderson out!!!!

| Ref was, as always, horrendous!
Anderson was poor in defence, again.
Match killer for me, Holdsworth and his comlete lack of attacking ability. No clue with ball in hand or with the boot! Oh, and it doesn't help having a fullback who can't catch or tackle!!
Harsh words but with the way I'm feeling this week it's taking all I got to be this nice. I hope Mr Parish can get more out of our so called "Stars".
Howevers, forwards (Cashmere especially) and wingers (Williams especially) had cracking games Fabulous finish by Broughton and sold effort from Nero as usual.

Also, Holdsworth missed the conversion to the first try, by a lot actually, but incredibly the touch judges raised their flags!!

The penalty count was 13-10 to us. The order of penalties was ("L" being penalties Leeds conceded, "S" being penalties Salford conceded):
L, S, S, S, L, S, S, L, L, L, L, S, L, L, S, L, L, L, L, L, S, S, S.

| i agree, we ( salford ) lost that game due to our poor first half performance conceeding 18 points after us bombing oppurtunity after oppurtunity, we had a lot of possession but couldnt convert it to points unfortunately, yes i agree there should of maybe been a yellow card but there wasn't.
Our attack in the firest half looked absolutely clueless it improved in the second half but we blew it in the first half thats all i have got to say!!!

| Yes, ref was rotten. I thought the way silverwood called back every quick penalty, and generally slowing the game down was dreadful.
However, poor as the ref was, you can't blame him. Lack of cutting edge probably cost us the match. We had a few repeat sets on the Leeds line early on, and didn't convert that into points. We need to be more clinical turning possession on the opposition line into points. That way horrendous decisions from the ref won't matter too much.
Good thing is that we got ourselves into that position in the first place. Good performance from the forwards, and we did rally a bit in the second half, on another night, who knows. Coach has 2 weeks to instill a bit of finesse into the squad, get us finishing off our opportunities, and for once I think we have a man who might just be able to do it.

| For me i would change the team slightly id have the same backs as started tonight have smith in at 7 ratchford at 6 holdsworth to loose moving wild into second row and godwin to come back in at hooker with sneyd on the bench, the attack seems clueless under holdsworth of recent so give this a go but hey what do i know !!!
