| There seem to be some people who like to jeer anyone who goes before the hooter win or lose. I wonder if their trip to warrington on Friday will be 94 miles each way? or 25 miles each way to Huddersfield when some of us have moved from the Town after living there 47 years?
I saw them jeering people leaving at Wigan and they believe that they are the 'true supporters?'
Well I have a photo from the Rugby leaguer of 1977'ish where there are 8 fans on the old terrace at fartown, of which I was one, in rain that was sheeting down! I think there were 180 in all that day.
The headline says 'The true Huddersfield RL fans' the leaguers words not mine..
I guess they were the same the idiots on the terrace side at Belle Vue singing things about wakefields ground being a shed without a roof till it got boring!!!
When you want to watch the match it gets annoying...... even if we lose as we did.
I encourage all supporters to keep 'the faith' but live and let live instead of jeering your own fans or having to listen to that woman screeching that very oft heard phrase 'rip is head off' a very knowledgeable supporter of rugby league indeed....

| Any chance of posting the photo?
A minor correction, though. The lowest crowd was 1986 [a stormy Wednesday night?against Keighley [draw, 32 apiece. It was 303.

| I sense increasing growing tension between Giants fans these days - come on guys, RL fans outside Huddersfield see the club as a place to heap , lets not bring it on ourselves.
I know where you are coming from 'fartown since 61'. Also see why the 'younger newer' Giants fans wouldn't understand where you are coming from.
Lets push this club on together.
Up the Giants

| I'm 16, and I've been watching since I was about 3, yeah, I didn't see the 303 crowds, but I saw us (well, Huddersfield-Sheffield) being murders 60-2 vs Bradford, saw us lose 26-22 on the first home game of the season (?) to Cas, and I also saw us beat every team in the NL1, win the Buddies Cup, Second Division Premiership, the Merger, the de-merger, De Vere, Paul, Lawless, Turner etc. I left early at Wigan, but I also sat through the whole 80 minutes (unlike most of our supporters) of being hammered by Warrington 60-4, and I stood and clapped the team, like I have done for 13 years (well, since I could clap). After leaving early from Crusaders, mainly because I had a train to catch, I got 'loyal supporters' shouted at me. Enough said.

I wonder if they were lambasted by their own fans?

| I can't believe you Huddersfield fans, your sitting 3rd in league, arguably you should probably be top, after a few petty losses, Crusaders springs to mind a while back, yet your still complaining, as a Cas fan i would do anything to be sitting in 3rd place only a few points behind the Wire and Pies, you have a squad depth that nearly every Super League club would give an arm for and some unbelievable players, im still going on my Wigan v Huddersfield GF.

| Am I missing something here? I've never heard us lambast our own fans for leaving a game early. Hell fire, I left myself once at Wakefield when Willie Poaching caught the ball from a kick off only to run through our whole team and score again. I have heard the odd comment in jest to fans that sit with us but nothing untoward.

| There have been quite a few uncalled-for comments about some of our fans leaving early.

| All a bit riduclous this.
I applaud anyone who comes to a game - and you can come and go whenever you want to.
I'll focus my energy on getting more people to turn up...
