on the local news today cant rememeber if it was BBC/ITV. Sale ru are moving closer to rugby strongholds with staging a game not far from WIGAN by holding a game at the reebok stadium in the new year.

I'd have thought they'd have been better staging one closer to home - that's where they need to drag in some support.

Now, he's got to compete whilst representing a poorly supported club in an area that is hotbed of professional sporting clubs.

Oh well, I suppose it pays good.

Plus, he gets 'more involvement on the playing side' ... whatever that means. I never understood it when it was given as one of his reasons for leaving Wigan.
