Hope everything isn't as bad as the rumours that are circulating. As much as I dislike them I'd miss the derbies. Them cas fans jumping with delight and gloating when Newmarket got called in and when we went under might live regret it, hope us City folk are more dignified.

Heard loads of rumours yesterday at the GF, seems like supporters of many clubs have their own version of what's going on.
I'd like to think its just Ferres' way of rallying the troops for a ST drive that's caused the stir.

Heard yesterday that it has been suggested that the Wakefield Community Stadium be named Newmarket Stadium instead. This is because Cas will not play in a stadium called Wakefield but they may consider playing in Newmarket Stadium.

I think only if naming rights aren't sold it would be called the Wakefield community stadium, coca cola community stadium of clipper logistic stadium more likely. I think S Ferres would get involved at Newmarket if he could like a shot might be their only option if they have money troubles, newmarkets nearer to wheldon rd than it is to belle vue so could still be an attractive option for them. |

I'd suggest Wakefield District Community Stadium should be as far as the change should be needed to go, not that any change should be needed as GH will happen!!

Thats exactly it will be. An over exaggerated view of the finances will be put forward followed by a pull on the heart strings to sell more season tickets. I've always been told that Cas fans are the best and most loyal in the world. One bad season of mediocrity and the fans are leaving in droves. Best fans in world by  |

1 bad season of mediocrity???? 2004 last, 2005 National League, 2006 second bottom, 2007 National league, 2008 last, 2009 7th, 2010 9th, 2011 9th, 2012 joint last with every single side in the league putting 40+ on us (apart from Salford) at 1 stage or another, dumped out of the cup by part timers (for the 3rd time in 6 years may I add). All this whilst still paying top dollar prices unlike a fair few other clubs in the league. A little more then the manipulated "1 season of mediocrity". |
