Reduction of teams in SL on agenda.

They could have reduced the numbers by not bailing Bradford out! I think most of the lower 7 teams would be rightly furious if one or two teams were given the boot,or could it be re introduction of P & R?

Licensing under this governance is a sitting duck, and i think they know it.
P and R for 2014 i say.

I'd be pretty happy with that,depending of course what the promotion criteria is.

Until they change their mind once again a few years later. Long term planning not a strong point of the RFL.

Bring back P & R for me and stick with 14 in SL. If SL is reduced I recon:-

1. Leeds, Wigan, Warrington, Saints, Hull FC, Catalans and Hudds are untouchable.

2. Hull KR, London, Wakey, and Bulls are marginally safe (1 out if we go to 10).

3. Tigers, Widnes and Salford (2 out if we go to 12 or all 3 out if another French club is introduced or we go to 10).

It would be another kick in the teeth for RL in traditional areas if teams such as us ,Cas etc are dumped.
I am all for expansion , but by new teams having to evolve , mature and through a promotion and relegation system advance upwards or not.
A process of natural selection if you like.
I really do despair at times how people can come into our game, wreak havoc and then disappear whilst the true fans have no power or say in the direction in which the game should go.
