I know the season is only just started but who would you like so see come in?
Do we give him another year? (if he even wants it)

Id like to think hes gone another season in him but many i speak to are saying hes off home.

Them we have players like Webster- do we keep them when on good wages or start with some fresh faces and sign 1 big name?


Realistically who would you like to see come in and why?
(im thinking more defensive minded players because of how the season as started)

I shall have a little think - it is still very early in the season,mind. There'll likely be very little out there again, so best hope of improving is the young players kicking on.

Senior players ooc - McDonnell (non-fed), Hall, Webster (quota), Wheeldon, Clinton (non-fed and quota), Watts (club-trained), Murrell (club-trained), Lovegrove (club-trained), Galea (quota).

Looking at the bigger picture, when the new North stand opens, I can see Rovers wanting to bring in a couple of high profile signings to coincide with the feel-good factor new stands seem to bring.

I was talking to Galea after the Widnes match and he said he felt he had another season in him. If he has a clean bill of health from when he returns until the endo of the season then I would be in favour of a renewal.

For me, we have to let one of the quota players go but I exect Rovers to release Webbo and Clinton. TBH Webbo has been a bit of a sick note and an underachiever during his time at Rovers, plus it is top of the grapevine Lopini Paea is coming to Rovers!

ben galea has been terrific at rovers but i think this year will be his last.

he will be a hard person to replace

Galea is still a tremendous player and will be very difficult to replace when he does decide to call it a day, i believe if it was'nt for his injury he would be still be one of the best forwards currently playing in super league.
If and when he does decide to hang up his boots i hope the club offer him a position in either coaching or some other role within the club, as his experience and ability to read the game would be invaluable, he also has the admiration and respect of the other players.

I suspect it was tongue in cheek Sheldon, However, If bottom 4 dwellers Hull can lure in Gareth Ellis, Anything is possible.
